Dirk Smith is a seasoned Government Services executive with over forty-five years of industry experience. He has held leadership positions across the entire spectrum of the Government Services industry but largely focused on the defense sector.
Prior to his current role, Dirk was a Senior Vice President with Serco Americas, a Division of London based, Serco PLC. a global government service provider. During his time at Serco, he held leadership roles in Finance, Operations, Contracts, Pricing, Procurement, Compliance, and Growth.
Dirk has been a mission-driven Executive driving fiscal strategy, organizational transformation, and rigorous compliance for both large and small businesses. Throughout his career, he has specialized in aligning financial management with mission-driven goals, overseeing portfolios exceeding $2B in revenue and workforces of 10,000+ employees.
Dirk has spent most of his career in Virginia. He completed the Serco Oxford Management Program, University of Oxford, Saïd Business School and holds a BS, Business Administration & Finance from Old Dominion University.
